This game is awesome! I remember playing this for hours back in the 80s and this is just like the original. It does save your progress IF you are good enough to make it through a level. It does give you one continue per level too which is nice. Very fun and challenging side-scroller if youve never played it before.

BUT I have some problems with the OnScreen-Controlls :-(
Support for a GamePad-Gadget for the iPad would be nice!

I Remembered this game as my favorite back in the 80s. I was so happy to find it as an app. Its challenging to work through all the levels and the never ending rooms that you can navigate and continually move throughout make it feel like a world if secret dungeons that never end. So much fun!

Soooooo good! Unused to play this on Coleco Vision. This version is great!!
Some bad moments
Good memories (one star is earned).
Other than that:
- Controls are terrible (it can be much better)
- No chance to continue after losing in second level.
- What surprised me more is that I specifically started with the level one (wasting my time from the beginning of the game), and when lost all lives in a one of the next levels it didnt offer to continue.
- Im not even talking about modern graphics.
Game is exactly like I remembered back in the old Apple II days. However the touch controls to move the player are hard and usually unresponsive when needed. The developer needs to correct this problem.
Ive always love this game when playing on my computer but playing it on the mini iPad I remember why I stopped: bugs... The character not stopping when you want him to is one. The biggest issue is playing with a virtual keyboard or joystick. Its really hard to be precise and quick. I will stop playing because of that. The other option would be to add continuous play, not only one continue and start over but virtual joystick is very bad. Thanks anyway!
Game has everything except controlling main character. All 4 joystick types are useless.
Best childhood game ever- remarkably well done for iPhone! I kept looking for this one and so pleased they did such a good job with it. It isnt easy to recreate a joystick on a touchpad, but they did it!
