Montezuma's Revenge! App Reviews

I searched out this game for the chance it may be available! To my surprise it was! It reminds me totally of my childhood. My only complaint is the controls. It is a bit hard to control... I wish I had my joystick that I used to use with the apple2e! My kiddos love it too... And I remember some of the secrets!

Ok - this was a difficult game way back when - its a little more difficult on the iPhone and you only have 1 extra continue set of lives (I think the original have you 3 extra continues) Exactly like original though and great memories - I love this game and had to purchase for $1.99

I used to play this for hours on my Atari 2600. Ive looked for PC versions over the years but could never find one that worked correctly. I did the happy dance when I found this in the App Store. Very much worth my $1.99.

This is a great game, but it stopped working ever since i upgraded to IOS 8.3. Hope the developers release a compatible version soon. :(

This old school game is awesome!!! The graphics, sounds and rooms are exactly like the Commodore 64 version. I love this! Thank you for making it available!!!!!

Its a platformer spelunking game where the object is to collect as many treasures as possible while avoiding creatures and making it to the bottom of the level and the treasure room. The game was originally released in 1983 on various platforms and this game is identical with a few enhancements. Retro mode is included to be able to play the game as it was originally (which looks like the computer based version C64). Controls arent that bad either.

Greatest game ever. Need I say more. Ive waited 15 years to play this again.

Id like to write a long heart felt review but it is too emotional to do because this games means so much to me, Ill just start crying. All I can say is ..... THANK YOU

I never write reviews! I was smiling from ear to ear when I saw this available in the App Store. Its everything I remember. The controls take a little getting used to but then again so did the original controls. A great port to iOS for any old school fans who grew up with this game. Thank you so much for the great memories.

Loved this game as a kid. Was shocked to know it existed! It has the same qualities from the 80s. Hard too! I wasnt good at it in 83 and I aint good at it now! But lots of fun!! If you remember the old version, this is the same. My kids enjoy it too. They like the retro graphics! Ha.

Im just as hopeless at this version as I was with the original. Very well made!
